The situation escalated dramatically on Sunday, with clashes in Dhaka resulting in at least 95 deaths, including 14 police officers, and leaving hundreds more injured, according to local media outlet Prothom Alo.

Cross-Border Movement Amid Unrest

In the wake of the violence in Bangladesh, people have been crossing into India for work via the Petrapole-Benapole border in North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. Heavy police forces have been deployed at the border to manage the situation.
