The shooting is suspected to be linked to AP Dhillon’s alleged association with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. “The gang had reportedly warned AP Dhillon to ‘stay within his limits, or he will meet a dog’s death,’ referencing his alleged connections with Bollywood actor Salman Khan,” as reported by India Today. Investigations into the Galaxy Apartment case revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Vishnoi, played a pivotal role in orchestrating the attack. Police sources disclosed that Anmol was responsible for “motivating the shooters” and providing them with vital information. The shooters reportedly received weapons in Panvel on March 15, 2024, and were instructed to target Salman Khan’s residence, a plan that they executed with precision. The gang reportedly paid the shooters a total of ₹3 lakh for the job.
Further evidence supporting the involvement of the Bishnoi gang in the Mumbai incident came from audio recordings recovered by the Mumbai Police. “Audio recovered by Mumbai Police from one of the arrested suspects in the firing incident also matched the voice of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Vishnoi,” police authorities confirmed.
