Introduction:

A minor blast near a PVR multiplex in Delhi’s bustling market area created panic among residents and shoppers. Authorities discovered a white powder-like substance at the site, which has been sent for forensic examination. While initial investigations suggest no terror angle, police are probing all possibilities to determine the cause of the explosion.

Body:

“The blast occurred late Thursday evening in a shop adjacent to the PVR complex, causing minor damage but no casualties.” Police and fire brigade officials rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area to ensure public safety.

According to witnesses, a loud noise was followed by smoke emanating from the shop, sparking concerns of a potential fire. Forensic experts are analyzing the white powder found at the site to establish its composition.

Authorities have appealed to the public to remain calm while the investigation continues. “Preliminary evidence suggests a short circuit might have caused the explosion, but we are leaving no stone unturned,” said a senior police official.

The incident has prompted heightened security measures around the market area, with additional personnel deployed to reassure the public.
