PM Modi on India’s Global Vision

Speaking at the summit, PM Modi emphasized India’s leadership in global matters, stating, “We need stability, and sustenance for growth, and India is working on it. Our third term gives a message of stability.” He touched upon pressing issues like climate change and reiterated India’s efforts toward green energy solutions. PM Modi highlighted key projects, such as the India-Middle East global corridor, the Mission Millets, and the Global Solar Alliance, showcasing India’s role in tackling global challenges.

He further remarked, “Initiatives taken by India are a solution toward problems. We would aim to ensure that India’s century is the world’s century.”

India’s Growth and the World

Reflecting on the impact of India’s progress, PM Modi said, “When India grows, the world feels happy. India’s growth will benefit the world.” He highlighted India’s significant contributions in the past and the renewed potential now that the country is independent of colonial constraints.

“The world celebrated the Chandrayaan mission. India’s growth will drive the world forward in many areas, particularly in space and technology,” he added.

India’s Support During COVID-19

In a powerful reminder of India’s humanitarian stance, PM Modi said, “During COVID, we could have earned millions of dollars by selling drugs, but we didn’t do that. It’s not a part of our tradition. We chose to help the countries and supplied medicines and vaccines to nations, which helped many.”

This approach, he stated, reflects India’s commitment to forging genuine relationships with nations worldwide. “We don’t make taken-for-granted relations with nations,” he added.

India’s Aspirational and Artificial Intelligence

PM Modi also discussed how technology is transforming India’s future. “For the world, it is Artificial Intelligence (AI), but in India, it is Aspirational India and Artificial Intelligence,” he explained. The government has launched an AI mission this year to integrate AI across sectors and foster innovation in industries.

“Aspirational India and AI, together, are accelerating India’s growth,” said PM Modi.

Infrastructure and Forward-Looking Development

Highlighting India’s development in infrastructure, PM Modi noted, “In the last 10 years, 12 crore toilets have been built, and 16 crore homes have gas connections… is it enough? My answer is no.” He emphasized that India’s development goals are focused on the future, aiming for a fully developed nation by 2047.

“Our focus is no longer on comparing our progress with the past. Instead, we are working towards ‘what we want to achieve,'” he said.

Achievements in the First 125 Days of PM Modi’s Third Term

In his speech, PM Modi outlined the achievements of his government in the first 125 days of his third term, which included:
